I once bought a weighed blanket. It was for sleeping. I felt it was suffocating me and making me too hot.
I'm pretty sure I don't want to use one for sleep. However, I've noticed "weighed blanket" as the answer to "what would you put in a sensory bag?"
Do autistic folks find weighed blankets useful in other circumstances than when in bed?
I'm curious. I really thought I'd like my weighed blanket, but I did not like the feeling of being suffocated under that thing. Maybe a smaller blanket, not specifically for sleep, would be better.
(Or maybe I could use it only when napping. I usually nap for 30 minutes at a time.)
Specific products would be helpful.
