One of the most important lessons I learned about #photo editing is to release the need to imitate the camera JPEG look and just do to the picture what you want it to be.

@isagalaev I think it is basically impossible to recreate the JPEG look [du jour] since that involves a ~captive~ proprietary neural network hallucinating things into your source material.

But yeah, no need to bother.
@dpwiz ah, that is a familiar term. An interesting thing, for sure. But really a hit-or-miss, judging by my Pixel 5.
@dpwiz I don't know what a captive NN is, actually :-) But it's possible to get close, when you want to. But my point is, why even? :-)
