It seems the world will be split in 2 ( at least or 3 or 4 maybe ) "those coders that would never use AI - to code" and "those that would use it at all opportunities". However if as I said somewhere else "if the type of GTP code that comes out it's what a friend showed me", then those "coders" ( so fond of GTP
) don't know how to code/think in the first place so it's a stretch to call them "coders". Mah I am sometime glad I'll maybe die before to see "the total collapse" 😐
@gilesgoat @reidrac@social.sdf.org Coding in Python, JS or other popular language (i.e. where LLMs achieved network effect) is basically automating yourself away (as a coder) by pouring more data in their programming corpus.
If you like code and don't like debugging others' mindless slapdash - avoid mainstream. It is already doomed by its success.
