I like the idea of a personal LLM trained on my emails. "Summarise my upcoming flight and travel to New York" would be useful.

Email is a blob of fairly unstructured text that contains useful information.

@wilfredh Yeah... But the security story here is not good, to put it mildly.

And that's only the passive summarization task. But some people are already wanting their digital twins to perform stuff in public :blobcatfearful:

@dpwiz Agreed. Much as a like the idea, I'd only want an LLM that I could run on my machine or trained by my email provider (who already have the content).

There are probably other areas where people have a sufficient blob of text that it's worthwhile. I've seen some big internal wikis, for example.
