actually I don’t understand nix{,os,pkgs}, ditto guix: it just happens to work out of the box most of the time, but if something doesn’t, or I need to customize it (make a package or module, for example), it’s all incomprehensible; the documentation isn’t helpful at all, and neither are the error messages

@amiloradovsky I've got the same feeling. Every time I did a workshop or a hackathon, there would be nix people who go "wait-wait-wait, something isn't working and I don't know what. let me google for while."

Like, dude, if you don't have a mentor on call to fix your setup, kindly please test it out before the event starts.
