Did all these CEOs just see how much fun r/WallStreetBets was having YOLOing all their cash, and decide they wanted some of the action? Elon with #Twitter, #Reddit telling their most active users to go f themselves, and now #Unity. All making hilariously bad decisions that seem aimed at making their customers irrationally angry, completely trashing their brands nearly instantly. Do they all hang out in some secret club and dare each other? What a time to be alive.
Oh my god, this whole #Unity thing is even more hilarious than I could’ve imagined, they’re now claiming Steam, Microsoft and Apple will be the one paying this new fee 🤡
Absolutely amazing https://youtu.be/KhtS566Fe9U
@Axman6 Reminds me about how some internet tube providers wanted to force Google and Netflix to pay extra for making users actually using* the tubes.
I.e. keeping utilization at above 1%.
@dpwiz thanks for the article, O never would’ve guessed that ‘dumb pipe’ was such a meaningful term. Gonna file that one away
@Axman6 I like how I can go from that article to "series of tubes", then to "information superhighway" and onwards to "cyberspace" 🏄♀️
