@earthjay Ah - looks like there was a USGS alert but for some reason their initial report gave the event a magnitude of only 6.2
@PoLaRobs there was a 6.2 aftershock about 8 minutes later. perhaps you saw the alert for that one? (and not one for the 7.5?)
@earthjay There was no alert relating to a 7.5 event on the @USGSted feed on the birdsite. Very strange.
