In symbolic systems, human response matters more than what is real, so scapegoats and talismans rule the day, as well as excuses, rationalizations, and cover stories.
@errante @amerika @carolen @PawelK unfortunately, they refuse to acknowledge the only sane way to name things: using namespaces. I'd very much appreciate if I can reserve the sarcastic-penguin namespace and put various things belonging to me in it: sarcastic-penguin:cat, sarcastic-penguin:dog... or it can be even multi-level like DNS... I will not mind to be called bulgaria:citizen:weird-animal:sarcastic-penguin :) it may be a bit long sometimes, but in those cases one can issue a single 'use bulgaria:citizen:weird-animal:sarcastic-penguin' to import it in the convetsation and use the shorter version...
