It's coming! The 1080p remaster is the way to go. While we're losing the 16:9 presentation, what we are getting is the proper 4:3 special effects which were so badly presented in the DVD releases. To quote another franchise "The Best of Both Worlds."

@dolari @flockofnazguls I’ll be interested in seeing this. I worked on the #VFX for this show; all the real credit there goes to Ron Thornton. We rendered all those shots at 720x486 and the only way to make those high def would be some fancy uprezzing tools. Very curious indeed.

@falken I've seen some of it, and it's truly great. We rendered those VFX shots on Amiga computers with 32 Megabytes of RAM (Yes MEGAbytes), 16 color texture maps, no graphics hardware--everthing renderered on the CPU. It truly was a miracle.

@MattMerk @dolari @flockofnazguls and I can't thank you and the team enough for doing it.

Assume you're aware of b5scrolls.com - recently rediscovered and spent hours reading!

@falken I did very little on B5, and was a much more influential team member on SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND, the show I did right after.
