Is there a modern equivalent to newsgroups that is still minimalist?
I’d like something in the #GeminiProtocol spirit. Like just sync .gmi files as messages in a structured way. You need an authorized public key to write.
Clients should be able to read and write on #retroComputing devices even if server and the bridge to reach it could be more advanced (like an ESP32 or a Pi to handle sockets and signing)

My last experience was that the overflow of crap made me think it was simpler to just start over… I know “reinventing the wheel”. But then again Gemini did “uselessly” reinvent the web. It’s about making a statement I suppose.
