If #DoctorWho really is canceled, I'd be up for a new season of New Adventures novels. I inhaled those things during the wilderness years - bonkers stories that could never have been filmed - and they did a good job of finding authors who became key players in bringing NuWho to life.
@ben There is really nothing right now that points to a straight out cancellation. It's just a matter of how much the BBC will be able to produce, and when. If the Disney distribution deal ends here, it's going to be a real downgrade in budgets.
As for extended universe sources where new talent can sharpen their teeth — Big Finish is still right there 🙂 But the time for new/revived book ranges would be now, while we wait for the next season!
