Trying to do “large” and/or heavy DIY is super fucking frustrating when there is nobody who can help you. As a consequence you devise clever ideas that turn out not so clever or push limits that then cause damage or injury. In this case only damage but it’s still sad that something I made as good as I could got fucked due to literally not having a second pair of hands around. Fuck sake.

If I can just get the first screw in I can finish it up and install the other five easily, sigh.

Ok I sussed a way out. Wind the screw in, angle grind the top off, then just thread the board over the stub. Good.

And now with the mess of tools reinstated which hopefully it will help organise. Minor gripe, I cannot seem to remove the screw stub I hung it on balanced in the middle. I’ll have to think about that.
