Very excited to hear today that my #Pebble Time 2 is finally on its way to me.

Nine years on and I have never found a smart watch as good as the Pebble Time (of which I have three, all still work, and I'm wearing one now).

The Time 2 has a bigger screen, better battery life, heart rate monitor, two microphones, speaker, compass, and a touch screen but still has those four buttons we all loved.

You can order yourself one, or a Pebble Round 2 if you prefer, here repebble.com/

@tallpaul I got mine last week and am loving it.

Regarding the touch screen, other than being able to have the backlight turn on, does it do anything else? I love the buttons but there are times where swiping up/down/left/right would be useful.

@ericsfraga @tallpaul yeah,it's part of the strategy to maximise battery life. So each app has to opt in to touch screen gestures. I bwas confuses at first you couldn't navigate the OS with touch!
