Amina Cain’s A HORSE AT NIGHT is meditative and gorgeous and just what I need right now. I want to live in this book.

@ofbooksandbikes thank you so much! Right now I’m reading Meet Me in the Bathroom by Lizzy Goodman. It is first hand accounts of the music scene in New York for the early 2000s. The movie starts streaming on the 25th I think. Pretty interesting and I want to see if the audiobook has the artists voices.
@flsounds sounds very interesting, but also makes me feel old, like the early 2000s was decades ago or something. 🤣
@ofbooksandbikes it probably should for me but I feel like it was just before my time since I was in middle school/ highschool then. I feel like a middle child in the music world, but in great company. Adele comes to mind because she names albums after her age. Artists like Charlie XCX and others came out after “my time”. I just want to experience as much live music as I can now even though I’m in my mid thirties. I don’t think it’s ever to late but I don’t want to waste any more time.
