I’ve gone all 2020 and I’m using one of those foot peel mask things that takes off about 100 layers of skin over a period of two weeks.
I bought them about 1 year ago and you have to sit with them on your feet in little plastic booties for a whole hour & I’ve not been able to get my act together to do it. 🙈
@theonlysimonandorgarfunkel thinking about my callouses from playing guitar, I wonder whether I’d trade being able to walk on rough terrain barefoot for soft skin. 🤔
@theonlysimonandorgarfunkel definitely wait until the winter of you don’t hike often then, then their are some great flip flops called bonsais that are made with real sheep skin and wool that would feel amazing after two weeks of peels🤩 they help keep your toes toasty too!

@theonlysimonandorgarfunkel I got my mom some Tevas slipper boots but I don’t know if she wears them. I was thinking that she’d love them for when she and my dad go camping. I need to ask her.
@flsounds What a nice gift! I’ll have to take a look at their other offerings. I only ever buy their sandals and platform sandals (so comfy!)
@flsounds I wear sandals all year round (minus snow days) and my feet take a battering. I have used them once before and the difference wasn’t so drastic that it was uncomfortable. But it’s something to consider - I’ve put it off a few times before an upcoming hike, just in case.
