Some people don't like eye contact, others don't necessarily wanna see selfies.
It doesn't hurt me to spent 3 seconds to stick a content warning on

@loki fair. I see content warnings usually as a bit silly since you never know what will or will not trigger someone. With that said I'd never hold it against someone for using one.
With that said just using it as a means to summarize content and expand more details makes perfect sense to me and can be useful.

@freemo well yes, it's used for both of these things.
Some people don't like to see certain content, and that's valid.
Personally I use it to summarise long posts because no one likes seeing long posts on their TL
