@Vexrog fixtures, bulbs, or something that combines both?
@freemo fixture, if you know a combo cheap enough to put in section 8 housing I’ll be hella impressed.
@Vexrog Maybe there is a language barrier here but when I think of a fixture I am thinking of a socket for a light bulb. Fixtures themselves arent energy star compliant (I dont think, are they?) its the bulb that makes them compliant.
@freemo there isn’t, in that case I’m looking for combos. I am but a lowley GC trying to help a brother out
@Vexrog So why not jsut buy a bare bones socket at a hardware store (few dollars) and get a cheap fluorescent bulb. Should cover your needs.
@Vexrog Sorry I cant be of more help.
@freemo It’s all good, TBH I think you may have been referring to a different kind of engineering in the instance description then I thought.
@Vexrog What kind do you think we meant and what kind do you think we didnt include? As far as I know we are inclusive of all Engineering.
@freemo like boring ass construction engineering. Seems you mean building your own new objects engineering
@Vexrog We would be inclusive of both. There is a lot of technical skill to construction. I would consider it just as much a part of STEM as anything else.
@freemo That’s very kind of you
@freemo nah, I meant it’s going into a new section 8 building so they gotta be dirt fucking cheap, lowest I’ve found is $12 a piece but it ain’t DCL. Guess I’ll make some calls then.
