You know why I enjoy hanging out with women? Because they are generally nicer. Nicer in the way that I don't have to always somehow proof my manliness. It's just more relaxed >.>

@commandelicious for me its their softness. I dont mean physically, but they are often more gentle than man. They often are more concerned with your emotional well being and do their best to enrich it.

Obviously generalizations dont work completely, there are always exceptions. But I find this to be often the case at least.

Most of my friends in america are women becuase America is so toxic that I really need as much "softness" in my life there as I can find.

Sadly now that I'm in the I have far fewer female friends. But that is because I mostly made friends through friends of friends. In time I'm sure the numbers will balance out.

@freemo The dutch rock!
I only have good memories from my time working there. Even the police is smiling.

@commandelicious In America when i see a cop i get scared and looka round for anything they might give me shit for. In the netherlands when I see them I smile and wave and ask them if they know a good coffee shop nearby :)

@freemo @commandelicious I like the police in Scotland. I am friendly with some police dog handlers and talk to them a fair bit. I suppose I should have added police dogs as an interest too. Well, animals in general because they are great. Except for earwigs and giant millipedes because they freak me out a bit. They can stay outside the house!

@Nyoei I havent been to Scotland. I wanna go and I wanna eat Hagis!

@commandelicious

@freemo @commandelicious Well, you can get it deep fried in batter here if you like. With chips. I'd say it's the most Scottish way possible.

My husband usually goes for a half pizza crunch supper which involves a half pizza dipped in batter and deep fried. That comes with chips.

I'm more conventional, I just have fish:P

@Nyoei

I never ate hagis. Everyone thinks it looks disgusting. I think t loogs delicious. Everytime im in the UK I look everywhere for it and never found it. But I never went to Scotland.

@commandelicious

@freemo @commandelicious Good haggis is delicious. Bad haggis I'm not so fond of. Fortunately they do pretty good haggis for the most part here because it's something we actually like to eat.

@commandelicious My favorite thing about germany while I was there is the food, the beer, and your unique hard liquors. My favorite was Enzian (I think thats how it was spelled).

@Nyoei

@freemo @commandelicious I'd love to visit Germany one day if I ever manage to sort myself out a bit. I think it looks such a beautiful place:)

@commandelicious Actually I need to go to see a friend. I havent since I moved here. So I'm pretty much obligated to go now!

@Nyoei

@freemo @Nyoei
Seriously, if that route leads you through the north-western part, stop at least for an hour and have a beer with me :D

Follow

@commandelicious I will make a point to make a detour even if it doesnt.
