I love when you deal with an american, usually a Republican or Democrat supporter. They ask you a legitimate question on why you are critical of their party, so naturally i give a respectful, long, and well researched response with a long list of citeable sources....

The result is always the same "This is so pathetic I wont even dignify it with a response" followed by a long list of personal attacks and accusations of having said something I never said.

Seriously Americans, this idiocy is getting pretty old. The rest of the world are done with the USA.

@freemo I actually have to side with him here. What you threw at him was just a list of cases I highly doubt you have any actual understanding or ability to argue about except being told by one specific political side what you should be thinking about them (I don't mean this as a dig at you here, but most of these these were legal cases, moreover in another country than yours).

He actually argued against specific points in your list then realized that it would actually be pointless to, because the vast majority of those would just be you repeating the leftie talking points back at him.
@freemo If you had actually wanted to discuss this with him, instead of throwing a huge list of superficial points, you would have selected one or two point you actually know enough about to defend.

@guizzy I know enough about all the points to defend them. Again I only picked the points I have researched and know about in-depth.

The reason it is more useful to provide a comprehensive list rather than a single point is that a person can either simply disagree, or even potentially change my mind on some of those points. That would be great. But if even one of them is valid then the overall point is valid, that Trump has violated civil liberties.

Since I took the time to list all those issues, fact check each one, verify them, and do indepth research, and provide that as a response. There is no reason to think he is not capable to engage at the same level. I am not asking any more from him than what I gave to the conversation.
