@freemo Hi, I am new to Fediverse but interested in qoto. As I am using Gab at the moment, is there any advantage in having a qoto account as well? Thanks.

@angelobottone well I guess it depends on what interests you. I think the main advantage is that Gab.com is blocked by many instances in the fediverse so your voice wont carry as far. At QOTO there are very few instances that block us and we dont block other instances. So generally you are more likely to be heard from this server than you would be from a gab server.

In short the main advantages would be around federation and administration styles.

@freemo @angelobottone The main advantage is that non-Gab instances actually function correctly because their admins didn't break the basic functions of the software trying to fix things that weren't broken.

@drump @angelobottone @freemo If it's an instance I don't have an account on and/or doesn't interact with FSE or Smug on a regular basis it's probably one of the least blocked.
