@johnlitt I'm not sure, spam would be easy enough with a rotating domain which would force instances into a white-list federation scenario should that come to pass.

Most of the threats seem social, which is a real issue on the fediverse. Mostly instances banding together to aggressively ban other instances int he fediverse causing a fracturing.
