@freemo ha :) I found a few colleagues that wanted this to happen. Pitched internaly about alternative open source decentralized social networks and why we needed to invest time and energy in those. And then keep pushing until it's in production :)
@xuv yea i was just being silly, I tend to agree in any healthy company.
@freemo Allow me to give praise to exceptional colleagues without whom this would have never happened: @moritzheiber and @effy :)
@freemo I'd say that the key it not to complain, but to question and overcome issues and hurdles when they appear.
It was not a matter of get it or get fired. I truly believed (and still do) that this is good for the company.
I must say I'm helped by a culture of experimentation and ground up initiatives in this particular company.
