Just a reminder, wealthy people arent responsible for you or anyone not having money simply because they do.
Money isnt like pie, just because some people have more doesn't mean you have less.
Money/wealth isnt a zero-sum game

@freemo Just a reminder, rich people earn their money by owning companies and stocks and shit and not doing anything, while said stocks and companies make money by paying their employees less than what's produced.
Many of said rich persons have no qualifications other than they inherited the money.
Many of them have corrupted government by lobbying. Some run hateful "news" channels, pushed for war for the benefit of their arms industry and succeeded at that.

Well for starters spending **your** money (which had to be earned in the first place) isnt "not doing anything".
Second, yes some inherited money, which means their parents in most cases earned it.
Third, a *huge portion of the 500 richest people in america were not born rich, in fact, more than half.
Finally, yes many have corrupted people and behaved illegally and immorally. Probably about the same percentage, maybe even less, than poor or middle classed people. So sounds more like an argument against corruption than an argument against rich people.
@freemo they've supported multiple foreign dictatorships in favor of their businesses, including the nazis.
When their media aren't pushing hate, they're still pushing the status quo, militarism and nationalism.
They have presided over multiple financial disasters, hired thugs for beat up workers who fight back.
Those with fossil fuel industries push our economy off the cliff of climate change, which could easily end up killing billions.

Humans suck, rich humans suck, poor humans suck. Sadly each to about equal degree en mass.
@freemo we're talking about "wealthy people" it's impossible to talk about it without either going super specific or generalization, both have their problems.
People sucking might be a reason to not give people power based on business successes, especially since we know those can be had through nefarious means.

By that twisted logic lets not just apply it to rich people. Since poor people are just as much assholes, and just as capable of making money by exploiting others (as we see with gang) lets apply that same faulty logic to everyone... Lets make sure no one can earn money unless they can prove they are a good person first. That should solve things huh?
Can you even hear yourself right now. The lack of logic here is getting increasingly absurd.
