In case you are curious this is what eggs look like when they are still developing inside a chicken.

@freemo I'm pretty sure I've eaten some of them - when I was young my mum would get some of the not-yet-shelled eggs when buying a chicken from the butcher for making soup and they'd be tasty bonuses in the soup.

@penguin42 I never heard of someone eating one that isnt fully developed.. I'd be curious to try it myself, presuming its prepared properly.. I would imagine youd have to seperate it from the mass of eggs.

@freemo the set on the left, held in the hand look about the type of size I was thinking.

@penguin42 Now i need to see if my butcher has any... I've been meaning to get some rarely purchased cuts.. I also want to buy some kidney fat and make suet.
