Wow, using my old transmitter without a waterfall display is painful to say the least.. I feel like I entered the dark ages again.

Since it will be a few weeks at least before I get my transmitter fixed I really need to figure out a way to use my SDR to get a waterfall display again, or something....

@freemo I think some transmitters have (or can be modified to have) an IF output, which you can feed into an sdr. Lookup sdr panadapter. Otherwise maybe just use a t/r switch between your transmitter and an sdr?

@Dubby yea i have that setup on one of my transmitters already... though that will mean installing windows to use the SDR, so not really idea, I hate windows.. but its an option.

@freemo what sdr are you using? Is Linux not an option?
