@wadetate yea this isnt the appropriate place for that. But there are mastodon instances that are tolerance of advertising accounts. I'm sure you'd be welcome on one of those. We are a specialty instance and do not allow advertising here.

We want people not brands. With that said we do allow people to mention their products or companies from time to time, but it shouldnt be the focus of the account.
