One of the best things about being an American abroad is tipping, its so rare people treat you like a king.

My favroite were how the italians responded to it. I tipped my dive coordinator after a group SCUBA dive in Sardinia and they decided to use my tip to buy everyone beers. They insisted I drink one with them and hang out after the dive. They were a great bunch of fellows! Italians in general really are. I remember when Iw as lost once I was so desperate I had to knock on some random ladies door in the middle of nowhere to ask for help (I was stuck on some mountain side).. She invited me in, gave me something to drink and did her best to help me even though her english wasnt great.

I really miss Italy!
