@kumicota he posted some poll asking about federating with rest of fediverse and some new design decisions, they did something thats been stopping us from getting their messages ive noticed

@a7 @kumicota This came after deciding they needed to remake their already rewritten software (which in and of itself was a rewrite of #Mastodon), and since they didn't test it at all, it broke the entire site, causing it to be down for a day or two. When it came back online, users couldn't (and still can't, IIRC), many glitches and bugs persist, including:

1. Not being able to post pictures
2. A complete lack of a follow button (at least for remote accounts, independently reported to me by a Gabber)
3. Complete lack of federation with #Pleroma

@realcaseyrollins @kumicota it was down like 5 days i think. But ya i remember those details. Just talking about atm.

@a7 @kumicota But yeah it's just that this led to the poll you're referring to. Rob is so frustrated with the fact that the new changes broke federation so much that he wants to just defederate at this point
