So seems the USA is very quickly mirroring the rise of Nazism (though with different races being targeted)..
We are past the Resistag Fire, that was 9/11, we are past the Reichstag fire decree, that was the patriot act.. right now seems we are at the "Kristallnacht" stage. Race riots where businesses and homes are being burnt and destroyed based on the race of the owner.
Looks like we will have full on oppression and violence from here on out.
Good job USA!
@realcaseyrollins No I am not suggesting these are literal neo-nazis or that the ideals of nazism is on the rise itself.
I'm saying it parallels nazism, the players and ideology is all different, but the broad strokes are the same.. A rice is seen as the evil entity that needs to be attacked (whites), an oppressive government taking away its peoples rights, and race riots to seal the deal.
all the elements are there, no one will be wearing swastikas or hailing hitler though.
It **should** be more of a class thing.. it isnt though.
One piece of evidence against that. the upper class business owners arent all getting attacked equally. People are putting "minority owned" in their windows and getting passed up by rioters while the white owned businesses are being destroyed and burned the the ground.
It is clear its not about class, if it was the minority owned businesses would be targeted just as easily as the white owned ones.
@freemo
Minority businesses actually are getting targeted. Not sure what the ratio of the targeting is
@realcaseyrollins targeted? or just accidentally destroyed because no one really knew or rioting became indiscriminate?
That said I really wouldnt be surprised if there are some people who are also racist assholes who might use the chaos to get some good old fashion racism against balcks or other minorities in too. riots are chaos there is likely a little bit of everything.
But from I'm seeing most of the hate seems targeted at whites in the riots.
@freemo
Right on.
One issue that gets lost in the sauce tho is that this is probably more of a class thing than a race thing, although who is on whose side is racially imbalanced.
It's largely the government & business owners vs. consumers
