Which sort of services should we add to the array of QOTO services (we will pick open-source and federated solutions where possible):
@freemo lemy sounds interesting, but isn't this more of the same?
@xyfdi more of the same in what sense? Same as what?
@freemo txt-based services
@xyfdi The added value I think would be a mor live way of interacting.. We dont really have a way on the fedi to know who is on right now and have a live back and forth. I see some value in a voice room, though less value on the chat room side I suppose.
@freemo What about my suggestion to use Jitsi? 🙂
@xyfdi I'd be willing to add that to a second round vote, but since your not on QOTO and unlikely to use our services I'd have to hear it suggested from someone on QOTO ideally.
@freemo I am waaaay to drunk and stoned to respond, yet here goes... Can you demonstrate what the added value is per proposal?
My 2 cents:
- Mumble, great for community events, voice only, lousy chat. You might be better of with Jitsi, at least you can present stuff.
- text chat, like FediVerse already is? Wouldn't it saturate your text based services even more?
