Am I the only one who noticed Biden was completely silent in his DNC acceptance speech about how he is going to address Police Brutality.. meanwhile he has a police officer as VP, so I think this is something he shouldnt just be glossing over.

@freemo The alternative is blatantly pro-cop so I'll take it.

@artemis It seems like biden already is blatently pro-cop, i mean he literally picked a cop as a running mate with horrible record of abuse... Cant get more blatantly pro cop than that.

@artemis Trump is pro-cop also, clearly, and that is a problem. But Biden clearly is no less so than Trump when he is picking his VP who is a cop.

@freemo I'll take the one who didn't gas people during his term over the one who did!

@artemis During Bidens term he was complicit on the murder of a underage child without due process... I dunno if we are going to go there and really care about the lesser of two evils (something I don't really do usually), I'd say tear gas is less of a crime than murdering a US citizen who is underage and without any due process (court case).

@freemo All right so you're arguing in bad faith. Have a wonderful day and if you don't vote against Trump you're a fascist. ❤

@artemis I never said i wouldnt vote against trump, quite the opposite. there are more than two people I can vote for, and will..

What I did imply is that I will vote against Biden, but I also said Trump is no better, so I will also vote against Trump.

@artemis Though just to be clear I would never praise either of them, in the picture neither of them look any better than the other honestly and it would be unethical for me to support either of them.

@freemo No one cares cause she’s a woman. She’s anti-Liberal as fuck most of the time.

@Rape Yea i agree... it seems like Biden is doing everything in his power to loose the election by opposing almost every single liberal ideal.

@freemo He’s a fair representative of his party as a whole. Some might argue his staff are good picks. Generally speaking though, Dems still have no identity. Or, if they do, it’s not something that can resonate with anyone under 40.

For my entire lifetime, at least, their entire platform has been “Be an official good person at your own expense, don’t worry about the details!” and “Insert Current Republican Figurehead Here is literally Hitler!”

@Rape Whether he is representative of republican ideals or not isnt particularly important to me. He is a shitty president, as Biden would also be. then again I'd also say the democratic party has shitty ideals in practice, as does the republical party.

@Rape Oh my mistake.. If you think Biden is a fair representative of his party that seems off the mark in the sensethat he seems to be acting against his parties typical ideals.. though he is just as slimy as the rest of his party.

@Rape @freemo Bernie was robbed of a second nomination. If the DNC primaries were even a little fair, Biden would've already been old news, and Trump would've been legitimately worried about Bernie, like he admitted in his speech on the first day of RNC.

@anornymorse @freemo Not really, he lost fair and square this cycle. Bernie fucking sucks, his primary appeal is to demographics who don’t even vote lol

@anornymorse @freemo Which, maybe isn’t fair, cause I hate the other guys for only appealing to Boomers, but it’s a Boomer system. Voting also sucks.

@Rape @freemo Voting for president sucks. Voting against every incumbent in your local/state elections (those are happening too, remember?) does not suck and is in fact quite entertaining.
@Rape @freemo Right. Cos Elizabeth Warren only staying in the race to stop Bernie from getting majorities, then pulling out immediately afterwards was fair and square.

The scary part is that Bernie stood a chance of winning, but the establishment was worried about being Gulag'd.

@anornymorse @freemo They’re allowed to do that, though. That’s kinda the same leap in logic that suggested Russian ad space got Trump elected in 2016. There’s nothing wrong with it.

@Rape @freemo
> they can play calvinball with their party's nomination, so it isn't cheating
mmkay.

> My apples to oranges comparison is relevant and valid.
Unless you're saying the RNC set up the Russian Ad Space, your comparison is on the moon for accuracy.

@anornymorse @freemo No, it really doesn’t need that base of similarity. Any candidate is allowed to be tactical for whatever reason they want. It’s not cheating.

@Rape @freemo
> double-down on calvinball!
the best part is that you agree that Biden is a terrible candidate and has zero chance of winning, especially with Harris as a running mate.

@anornymorse @freemo Yeah, Dlufmpk will probably win. Although, I might vote Biden because I don’t find Trump funny anymore and I don’t want Grandpa to stop failing to publicly speak. Biden feels reminiscent of a less cool GW Bush in a way, doesn’t he?

@Rape @freemo
> I'm going to vote for a straight-up pedophile and justify it by remarking on his resemblance to a war criminal!

If you're throwing your vote away, at least give it to a third-party. Then focus on your local elections where shit is probably terrible.
