never have I seen so many nonsense words used to describe literally nothing, that has no use, and doesnt challenge anything... atleast NFT's use their energy to do something useful, this literally is just a complete waste of energy and time. It randomly generates a gradient and puts a random UUID over it, then deletes it, thats it, how is this in any way useful.
@DevilMayCummies replace the screaming with some sort of liberalist communist anti-money agenda where they rant about NFT's and thats exactly it.
The rant itself is painful enough as it is but the fact that the app they wrote that they thought would somehow "disrupt" NFTs shows they dont have a clue.
It reminds me of that time years back where everyone on mastodon was complaining they didnt get the features they wanted (mostly to make it easier to mass block groups of servers and shit) so they started their own "fork" of mastodon with like a dozen people. Thing is they never wrote a line of code it was all just a wish list of what they wanted because not a single person in the whole group knew how to program in any language at all.

@pants how so? In this case I dont see how this "app" satisfies any requirement of any kind.. I cant see anything it would ever be useful for.
@freemo I read the whole thing as satire. It's not supposed to be useful. Instead it's making fun of NFTs and the culture surrounding them.
@pants Could be, but the about page doesnt really make that clear, so they are doing it deadpan and making it look serious.. but yea could be.
But the truth is NFTs in general are a very useful technology that does in fact accomplish something. I can see reasons to make fun of cryptokitties or other silly uses of them, but NFT itself, meh, thats like making fun of TCP for being useless instead of making fun of stupid websites.
@freemo Oh, didn't you hear?! Because of coronavirus you should have already switched all web activity from TCP to UDP!
