They are already going on about shit with a new strain that they think the vaccine wont cover... exactly what I said stood a good chance of happening. Several times I pointed out due to the nature of the virus vaccines arent likely to solve it and at best will help for a short period. Seems thats how its playing out (though too early to really say for sure).
@freemo It’s literally Orwellian they’re calling these ‘variants’ instead of strains. I haven’t read the papers because I’m burnt out on papers at this point, but if you believe the No Agenda guys, apparently these new strains are all found in-vitro in lab settings, not in-vivo/in actual people.
It’s also incredible how many people are willing to take a vaccines that’s barely undergone any testing. There have been zero challenge trials, and apologists say, “Well those are unethical.” Really? And releasing a vaccine after eight months of development, using a technique never used before in production, is ethical? Jenner did challenge trials with Horsepox/Cowpox 185 years ago.
Without actual challenge trials, all the numbers going on around this vaccines are unreliable noise. Very few are covering the potential side effect of dropping platelets to zero, which may have killed one doctor and one Utah woman so far. Granted, millions will probably get these shots and nothing bad will happen, but there are risks people are not discussing .. and honestly looking at the stats, there is a good chance these vaccines literally do jack shit.
Pharma is afraid to say if they’ll actually stop transmission, or prevent infection. They only thing they’re saying is that it will lessons symptoms .. which just sounds like snake oil horse shit.
Let’s just accept we lowered life expectancy by a year or two for now. (It will be back to normal as young people get it and gain immunity and grow old … pharma will say it will be due to the vaccine).
We need to start dancing again, have conferences in person, listen to live music indoors and move the fuck on.
regardless to any of that, we knew vbefore this all started that excessive lockdowns dont fix viruses in the wild. They help in short bursts when you have a local excessive outbreak, rolling lockdowns.. but not the way we are doing it.. Even polio didnt have continual lockdowns across the board.
