I have contacts at NASA (and stronger contacts at SpaceX). but I can garuntee you nothing I or you will say will be getting you into space. Best I can do is put in a good word if you apply for a position there you are otherwise qualified for.

Yea my old friend from when i was a kid is very close to Elon and is the VC who funds a lot of Elon's projects, so he has a lot of clout.

Indeed. I kinda regret passing down a job at SpaceX in the early days before they had their first rocket finished. that would have been a lot of fun to help engineer.
