Now you got me wondering if hormone replacement therapy results in a reduction of male pattern baldness or not... for that matter does it also correlate with an increased risk of osteoporosis?
The assumption being M2F
@freemo@qoto.org @abloo@fedi.absturztau.be but probably yes for the second as well, hormones control almost everything
Thanks, never looked inot it before. Makes sense and very cool information.
Next time i see someone complaining going bald I now have a a new snarky remark "Have you tried having a sex change?"
I really need to read up on the biology on that one again. I dont think i ever went into too much detail on the pathways for that which is surprising because i usually love to understand biological pathways.
Having intellectual discussions is a great way to kill time, and often can be very enriching for yourself and those around you.
@freemo@qoto.org @abloo@fedi.absturztau.be the first one is a definite known yes (it's listed on pharmaceutical information that comes with HRT stuff), don't know about the second
