@vital876@mastodon.social Hard to say if the tears were fake or not. I agree his arms seemed "awkward" but to me that is what made the tears look real. A person who is really crying and hyperventilating will look quite awkward I find.

As for the events of the incident. He was attacked by a mob that threw stuff at him, screamed about killing him, assaulted him, and chased him some distance. He kept screaming "friendly" as he ran. He only shot when he seemed to have no other choice and strictly in self defense.

IMO based on the videos it is an obvious case of his innocence.

this is why we can't have nice things

@icedquinn

Personally im not sure why him crying or not should have any impact on the case anyway.

@vital876@mastodon.social

@freemo @vital876 however had he just deadpanned it, then that too would have been cited as "see he's not even remorseful he just executed this guy and doesn't even care" which leads me back to
> there is an authorized way to have an emotional response
@icedquinn @vital876 @freemo

the best is seeing people complain that it doesn't look right, when they're obviously basing it off entertainment they've watched

@histoire

Anyone who has ever seen someone cry in a truely distressing and life threatening situation would know it doesnt look like the sort of crocodile tears people expect on TV. The way he cried is exactly what I'd expect of someone who is scared to death and remorseful for being int he situation at all.
