Linux Audio question: I have a USB microphone that I have hooked up to my PC. My system detects it, but after a while will fail to pick up audio unless I unplug the mic and then plug it back in.

@noelle Ubuntu family. I'm running Pipewire nowadays, but I'm pretty sure the problem predates it to when I was strictly using PulseAudio.
@sean Huh. That is an odd problem. ...what specific member of the Ubuntu family? This feels like a memory leak in the audio input controller.
