@SirHendrick Not entirely accurate... Doing rigorous experimentation under peer review to refute and/or confirm scientific assertions is how you do science.. Simply questioning the available scientific data and studies without actually doing the rigorous experimentation is **not** how you do science.
We care about what works, not what people who have no understanding of science think of the system.
@freemo >We care about what works, not what people who have no understanding of science think of the system.
Apparently you do think what genpop thinks of the system because you’re trying to get genpop to act on its findings, freaking out in the news media and in government when they blow those findings off. Like I said, academic scientists lost a lot of credibility in the last decade and your hoity toity appeal to your own authority won’t save you from that loss of credibility. In fact, it contributes to it.
t. someone who did published research in a university
As I said last time you repeated yourself on this topic. Your opinion holds little weight as I've already seen the childish and bias way you conduct yourself. You acted like a 8 year old for several days straight, your opinion has 0 value from that point onward.
@freemo @NEETzsche @SirHendrick
Who are you even trying to persuade here? Your arguments are nothing but insults and appeals to your own authority, but why do you think you claiming to be smart would be enough to change opinions?
Not a damn person. I am explaining my views, couldnt care less who I persuade.
@freemo @NEETzsche @SirHendrick
In that case you are not explaining. You are just repeating them.
You cannot explain differences without examining origins of these differences. if you repeat the anwser, it does not help anyone to understand the process.
I'll let you know when someone matching that description enters the conversation.
Not sure why that is relevant, you do not match the description.
" those of us who understand..."
That disqualifies you.
@NEETzsche see my earlier comment about not caring about your opinions.

Peer reviews are the main reason, why the more educated population is loosing any trust in scientific community.
For the rest of population, we have Fauci.
Yea I havent seen that. Its mostly the dumbasses drowning in conspiracy theories who have lost trust in peer review. They to tend to wrongly believe they are the more educated of the population though.
Fauci is a joke though and I've heard many of the educated agree on that point.

Not sure if I'm missing something, but last time I checked, HIV was a bit more serious then the flu, so how does the situation relate?
@LukeAlmighty @NEETzsche @SirHendrick @freemo
It relates because AIDS was a hoax just like COVID.
We were all going to get AIDS and die, nothing even remotely close happened. HIV was never proven to exists, just like COVID virus.
And you are the winner of the idiot of the week award, congratulations.
You being illiterate is more your problem to cope with than mine.
@freemo @LukeAlmighty @NEETzsche @SirHendrick
How did you even find your way on here? Go back to watching TV.
@freemo The way you do science is you make an educated guess (hypothesis), you test it in some way (experimentation), and then you update your views based on the outcome of your experiment. The peer review step is extraneous and is basically just there as part of a step to convince other people that you’re not full of shit.
Unfortunately for academic scientists, this peer review system isn’t inspiring a lot of confidence in the general population.
