Yes and that. I'm traveling in egypt now and the falafels, flat bread, and tahini humus is soooooo good.

@freemo @Chrisleon27 you can make flat bread easily at home. Its just flour and water. You could use a pan to fry it but if you have stone that will be perfect

@freemo @Chrisleon27 most of the counties in the world have something similar in the cuisine. Only little variation and new name. Some of the names: pita, podpłomyk, flat bread

Pita is def different than flat bread, atleast here in egypt and by american naming. Pita is airy and often pocketed, much thicker. Good pita, like good flat bread, is similarly chewy though
