What you do get to do is express yourself how you see fit and have that be honored. So if you want to express yourself as a female, then I should treat you as a female. **I** get to express myself as i wish and that includes how I address females, namely, by use of the word "she".

Respect goes both ways, I need to respect your gender, you need to respect my use of language.
