@chris @freemo @underlap My MIL sometimes tells me about her time living in an African country for a few years, recently. While she was over there, they had to do a number of border crossings with their (international) team. She said the Americans nearly got them denied entry to a country at a couple of points, because instead of sitting outside and waiting respectfully at the (empty) checkpoint for 90 minutes as asked, they got on their high horse and demanded, "But I have a US passport! Why can't you just stamp it and let me through!!"
