@1iceloops123 LOL actually there is good reason to use it even if your frontend doesnt support it.
The main reason is if you reboost you cant comment on the reboost, or strike a conversation. So if you want to make a post that is like "hey guys look at this post, lets talk about it" you simply cant do it with a reboost or reply. what you'd have to do is paste the link to the post and then comment... which is pretty much exactly what a quote post does anyway just with the added advantage of looking nice if you are on a good ui that supports it.
@1iceloops123 Well you can abuse anything of course. Point is, its a useful feature when used properly even when not all UIs render it correctly.
