First, Bitcoin was supposed to be a currency. Then it was supposed to be the electronic version of gold. Then it was supposed to be a store of value. Then it was supposed to be simply a security.

What's the problem it actually solves?

@atomicpoet Decentralized currency, duh. That said as far as crypto goes it isnt a particularly useful one given its lack of smart contracts.
