Crossing the Street Shouldn't Be Deadly (but it is)
Crossing the street should be safe, convenient, and easy, but it isn't. And that's because in the US and Canada, the roads are designed for exactly one purpose: to move lots of cars as quickly as possible.
Such a world of difference holy shit!
Here in the #Netherlands, people driving a #car are almost afraid of people on a #bike
If you want or need to drive a car you also need to bare the responsibility of such a monster vehicle
Often you see people hate on cyclists from a car perspective. Well I can telly ou one thing, if you do that here you are f*cked and in the wrong country
Don't fuck with bikes
@stux The hate for cyclists is well founded but also doesnt apply to the netherlands for one important reason: infrastructure. In the netherlands bikes and cars are completely separate except when maybe crossing over the road for a turn or something. In other countries the bikes and cars share the same road and same lanes too. This means a car behind a bike needs to go at bike speeds,, so naturally it pisses people off.
