Anyone out there who uses or more specifically .. What suggestions do you have for syncing with your android phone (or google calander)? I found quite a few ways but all feel rather hackish to me, wondering if anyone has an elegant solution out there.

Right now im considering using taskwarrior as a middle man and syncing between org and taskwarrior and then syncing up taskwarrior with either google calander or my android directly.

@freemo
Just use syncthing. I have had zero issues nor have any of my relatives. Have been using it for more than two years now.

@bitblit How would that, on its on, get my agenda into my google or android calendar?

@freemo
I mean, to make an action on any application programmatically requires it to be accepting of that or by the use of adhoc scripts. What i mean is, to add to google calendar you need to create a script which logs on to google calendar and creates a new event (take note of how hard google makes this) and finally complete the event. You mention task warrior for that. I say you directly use the org file AS THE calender. Then sync that file with android and pc

@freemo
You can then also use something like NTFY.SH on f-droid to create notifications on specific timings a lot of fun stuff (if you are on linux).
