Sooo just a reminder:

Dresses were the norm for boys in 100+ years ago, and the color pink was a color for boys as well.

Oh yea and in the 1700s it was normal fashion for men to wear high heels.

But hey, lets make up whatever fake history we want to make gender norms sound like they have always been the same and that "cross dressing" and "drag" are somehow new inventions.

@freemo if dresses and heels were the norm, then people weren't bucking the norm wearing them were they? If however a person chooses to wear clothing that is atypical for their sex, that is abnormal. I don't know of anyone that thinks that cross dressing and drag are new inventions, but to pretend they aren't behaving abnormally or that people in history following the gender norms of their day were being abnormal is weird and disingenuous.
