Of all the good things my mother taught me growing up there is one that I think is the best she has instilled in me:

Always offer anyone who needs it food and water... in fact, when you can try and actively find people who need a meal and dont just feed them, but sit with them and be a friend to them if they want when you feed them.

Probably the single biggest thing you can do to change the world with very little money.
