So apparently after this guy posted some screen shots of me posting the attached he rage quit, said he was deleting his account, and well, did.. at least after he messaged me with some threats and I blocked him...

I have to say, that doesnt make me happy. I really would have rather him just act like a mature adult, he could have just walked away more politely, or just moved on.. in fact a simple "Im sorry" would have been enough for me to let bigons be bigons....

While his attitude suggests him leaving is better for the fediverse, frankly its not what I'd call a win, anytime someone is this immature no one wins.
