I’m just not convinced by it.

History shows it pretty well.. i mean hitler aside the japanese even tried to invade us and never got past hawaii. In fact despite us starting wars left and right there has never been a single battle on US soil with a foreign entity… never. For a country as large as the USA and one that starts a lot of shit that alone is telling.

I remember a podcast, a guy was saying the reason people are polite in America is because of guns. That was weird, I’m generally polite irl and it has nothing to do with firearms.

Its also nonsense… Guns are almost never on americans minds and outside of maybe texas you will rarely even find one. Not counting police I think I’ve seen 2 guns in my entire life prior to me buying guns..

Plus the idea that you’d need to be in the USA to understand… nah… there isnt anything all that gun like about america. In fact I never owned guns before going to europe, and more generally traveling. It was literally my time abroad and in europe that changed my mind on gun ownership.
