@trinsec if it were in a plane following a parabolic curve you'd get an even better feel for it. Good luck affording it :)
@freemo@qoto.org Looks like it costs 6000 euro to pay for 15 paraboles in one flight.
@trinsec Less than I thought, but still pricey.
@freemo@qoto.org Yeah, if you wanted to go for the experience, you can at least save up for it.
Ever done this?
@trinsec I know about it, but have not dont it.
@trinsec Do they at least have the decency to drop you off on a tropical island too :)
@freemo@qoto.org Best they can do is south France. ;)
@freemo As someone who’s done both, the float you feel with neutral buoyancy feels much closer to weightlessness than your body hurtling to the ground with an insane amount of wind pushing back against you.
One is serene and peaceful, the other an adrenaline rush in absolute chaos.
Have you ever tried skydiving? Because if you had, you’d know how bad of a take this is.
@freemo@qoto.org Skydiving inside a descending plane for that illusion, I think? Because otherwise all the wind and approaching ground will give you the feeling that you are plummeting to certain doom. 😅
